Travel Team

Requirements

Completed 11th grade by summer 2021
A desire to grow and learn professional and leadership skills
A willingness to learn and demonstrate good stage presence
A clear understanding of servant leadership and a desire to invest in guests and campers
A willingness to travel and stay in multiple locations over the summer

Responsibilities

Attend pre-camp training and weekly inservice
Assist program coordinator in packing and preparing program boxes
Be responsible for the implementation of the culture camp, Bible study or service project rotation
Serve as lead for one rotation and prepared to teach volunteers
Participate in on stage morning celebration and closing ceremonies (including skills, giving instructions and children’s worship)
Assist with lunch activities and big group challenge
Clean and sanitize between rotation groups as needed and sanitize all equipment at the end of the day
Work with rec team to facilitate weekend events at WorldSong
Work with rec team to clean and sanitize cabins between groups
Other additional camp projects

A clear understanding of servant leadership and a desire to invest in guests and campers

Responsibilities

Attend pre-camp training and weekly inservice
Work with team to clean and sanitize all rec areas and main campus buildings
Supervise campers while swimming at the pool and canoeing at the lake
Lead groups through team building experiences including low ropes, pioneer build and rec games
Lead groups through outdoor cooking and craft experiences
Set campfires and maintain trails
Facilitate carnival activities
Assist rec coordinator in filling water coolers and other rec related projects
Work with team to clean and sanitize cabins between groups
Other additional camp projects
